UNC Rex Cancer Care's Thoracic Cancer Multidisciplinary Care Program is here to take care of you from the moment you’re diagnosed throughout your cancer recovery. Thoracic cancers can occur in and around the chest and may include the chest wall, lungs, throat area and more. Our compassionate team of experts will provide a personalized care plan for you as they offer guidance and support through every aspect of your treatment and recovery.

Diagnosis and Treatment

Lung cancer is the second most common cancer found in men and women (excluding skin cancer). At UNC Rex Cancer Care, we offer a lung cancer screening program for people who are at high risk for contracting the disease.
