Our culinary team believes that hospital food should not only be nutritious, but delicious and exciting. In fact, UNC Health Rex has even made Conde Nast Traveler's list of '9 Great Meals in Unexpected Places.'
This innovative, award-winning restaurant is located on the bottom floor of the Heart and Vascular Hospital, adjoined to the main hospital. Kardia provides a unique culinary experience by introducing dishes that are healthy, but more importantly, delicious!
Kardia also makes fresh beverages daily and serves nitro cold brew coffee on tap (as well as delicious hot coffee).
Kardia Café is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Room Service
Our room service menu is available to patients between 6:45 a.m. - 6:45 p.m. Our after hours menu is offered from 6:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with a limited menu for patients in the Emergency Department and Women's Center. Guests may take advantage of room service by purchasing a meal voucher from the Courtyard Café for $8.00 + tax.
