2019 Community Health Needs Assessment
The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is a comprehensive, systematic and data-driven approach to determining a population’s health status, behaviors and needs. Every three years, an analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, as well as diverse input from communities across Wake County, is compiled to paint a more complete picture of residents’ health and well-being. Unique characteristics of a community must be known in order to maintain and improve citizens’ quality of life. Research and evaluation leads to better information about the effectiveness and impact of efforts, ultimately leading to better discussions, decision-making and outcomes.
