Rex Healthcare Hosts Cancer Survivors Day Celebration of Life
Family-friendly Community Event Celebrates and Honors Survivors of All Ages
WHAT
Rex Healthcare will host a National Cancer Survivors Day celebration on Sunday, June 7, marking the 26th year the hospital will bring together survivors in the Triangle. The family-friendly affair will feature inflatables, games and activities for all ages, refreshments, and live entertainment by The Legacy Motown Revue. The free event is open to current and former patients, families and friends.
National Cancer Survivors Day is held each year in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world, on the first Sunday in June. On this day, thousands of people gather with their communities to celebrate life and show the world that there is a life after a cancer diagnosis.

Attendees include cancer survivors, their families and friends, as well as UNC Rex Cancer Care oncologists, navigators and caregivers.
