Rex Surgical Specialists Welcomes General Surgeon Dr. Mark Sturdivant

Bringing Clinical Expertise in Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine to the Team

RALEIGH, N.C. – Rex Healthcare is pleased to welcome Dr. Mark Sturdivant to Rex Surgical Specialists.

Dr. Sturdivant has more than 20 years of experience practicing in the Raleigh area and is board certified with the American Board of Surgery. His clinical expertise includes advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine, general surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Sturdivant received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his residency at both the University of Virginia Medical Center and Carolinas Medical Center.

In addition to medical publications and honors throughout his career, Dr. Sturdivant is a fellow for the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the North Carolina Medical Society.
