UNC REX Cancer Care Hosts Annual Survivors Day Celebration of Life
RALEIGH, NC –– UNC REX Cancer Care will host its 27th annual National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration on Sunday, June 5. Survivors in the Triangle will gather to reconnect with their physicians and celebrate with loved ones. The family-friendly event will include inflatables, games and activities for all ages, food and a live performance by The Embers featuring Craig Woolard. The event is free and open to the public.
National Cancer Survivors Day is recognized each year in locations worldwide on the first Sunday in June. On this day, thousands of people gather with their communities to celebrate and show the world there is life after a cancer diagnosis.

Attendees will include cancer survivors, their families and friends, UNC REX Cancer Care oncologists, nurses, navigators and caregivers, as well as the general public.
