Phononic Partners with UNC REX Healthcare to Bring High Performing Evolve Refrigerators to New State-of-the-Art Heart & Vascular Hospital

Durham, N.C. – March 21, 2017 – Phononic, the company revolutionizing cooling and heating with solid-state technology, today announced that UNC REX Healthcare, a private, not-for-profit community hospital in the UNC Health Care system, has outfitted its newly opened North Carolina Heart & Vascular Hospital at UNC REX with Evolve refrigerators. UNC REX Healthcare has deployed a combination of 1.8 and 5.5 CuFt Evolve products in its pharmacy, patient support areas and medicine rooms in conjunction with medication management systems. The installation was facilitated by REX Health Ventures (RHV), an innovation platform created by UNC REX Healthcare to foster and nurture innovative technologies and companies in the healthcare sector.
