Special Event Medical Coverage

Have you thought about what would happen if someone at your event was injured or became ill? How would you care for them?

From major sporting events and charitable walks to concerts and community events, medical care for your participants shouldn’t be overlooked. Leave the planning and staffing to the medical experts of the REX Emergency Response Team (ERT). REX ERT provides high quality, on-site emergency medical services at over 400 events each year in the Triangle. No matter the size and type of event, we offer a variety of services to meet your event’s medical needs.

Services We Offer

We offer immediate first aid and emergency medical care provided by a team of certified and experienced Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Registered Nurses.

REX ERT crews, including our mobile bike teams, are equipped with state-of-the-art communication and medical equipment such as automatic defibrillators (for cardiac arrest). Our team can also provide immediate access to over-the-counter medications.

REX ERT staff is prepared to treat the following ailments and conditions:

Blisters
Cardiac arrest
Drug and alcohol overdose
Eye injuries
Food poisoning
Headaches
Heat-related illnesses
Lacerations
Seizures
Sports-related injuries
