UNC Health Rex Acorn Award

If you want to celebrate a UNC Health Rex team member who has made a difference in your life, thank them by donating in their honor and giving them an Acorn Award.

You can give an Acorn Award to anyone at UNC Health Rex who has gone above and beyond to show kindness or to provide exceptional care to you or a loved one. The person you choose to honor may be someone involved in your patient care, such as a doctor or nurse, or someone in another field, such as Environmental Services or Culinary and Nutrition Services – even a volunteer!

The team member is recognized during a surprise ceremony with their peers and receives an acorn-shaped pewter pin for their ID badge.

How to Give an Acorn Award

To thank a UNC Health Rex team member, simply fill out the donation form with their information and your donation details.

• Mail the form to the address listed at the bottom. You can mail a check with the form or mail the form and donate online.
