Greek Yogurt with Honey Thyme Walnuts

Serves 4 (calories, carb, protein will vary with Greek vs Plain non fat/low fat yogurts)

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter or oil
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ teaspoon dried or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons good quality mild honey
  • 2 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt

Directions:

  1. Melt butter/oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add walnuts and stir until just toasted and beginning to brown. 
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Stir in thyme quickly, then add honey and stir to coat walnuts. 
  5. Divide yogurt onto bowls and spoon honeyed walnuts over the top.
