UNC Health Rex Women’s Center Parent Advisory Board

The Women’s Center Parent Advisory Board connects patients and caregivers with hospital staff and leadership to discuss postpartum patient experiences. If you or a loved one gave birth at UNC Health Rex, you can share your perspective as a member of the Women’s Center Parent Advisory Board.

How to Become an Advisor

Advisors attend advisory board meetings and represent the voice of the patient on postpartum projects. Advisors can get involved in a variety of ways.

  • Taking part in decision-making and planning
  • Finding creative, cost-effective solutions to challenges
  • Influencing policies and educational programs
  • Improving hospital quality and safety through feedback and observations

If you’re interested in joining our advisory board, send us an email! We'll set up a phone call to answer your questions and discuss what it’s like to be an advisor.
