How to Prepare for Your Procedure

There are special preparations for each of the GI procedures we perform. These preparations range from a period of fasting for most upper GI procedures to invasive bowel cleansing for colonoscopies.

The purpose of these preparations is to ensure you have the safest and most comprehensive exam possible. Please refer to the specific instructions provided by your physician to make sure you will be prepared completely on the day of your procedure. If you have any questions related to your preparation instructions, please call the office and speak with our triage nurse.
